DESCRIPTION
The Abhiṣeka Sutra 灌頂經, an abbreviation of 灌頂七萬二千神王護比丘呪經 (’The Consecration by Seventy-Two Thousand Spirit Kings Protection of bhikṣus Spell Sutra’), a 12 fascicle collection of twelve esoteric sutras translated by Śrīmitra 帛尸梨蜜多羅 between 317–322 AD, but according to Sengyou, this sutra was composed by Huijian 惠簡 under the Liu Song in the 5th Century. (T 1331.21.495–536, K 174).
