DESCRIPTION
The Vijnaptimatrata Sastra ("Treatise on Consciousness only") refers to a set of three short poems attributed to Yogacara founder Vasubandhu:
- "Treatise in Twenty Verses" (Viṃśatikā)
- "Treatise in Thirty Verses" (Triṃśikā)
- "Exposition of the Triple Nature" (Trisvabhāva-nirdeśa)
It consists of thirty stanzas, or verses, on the Yogacara concept of consciousness and is, in some sense, a summary of the essential teachings of the Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra.
