DESCRIPTION
The bodhisattva-mahāsattva instructions continue in this chapter spoken by Samantabhadra on the multitude of obstacles arising from bodhisattvas giving rise to anger toward other bodhisattvas. There is no greater fault. This opening turns into a ‘daisy chain’ of teachings and practices given in lists of ten, the accomplishment of which gives way to the next list of ten. Samantabhadra concludes with a long poem on the ‘Practices of Samantabhadra’ that focuses on the theme of the universal interpenetration of all dharmas.
