DESCRIPTION
Mañju-śrī ‘passes the mic’ to Bhadrā-śrī, who gives a very long verse on cultivation and practice. Beginning with practices around generating bodhicitta, and then a description of the ‘daisy-chain’ effects of doing so. The highlight of the chapter is a descriptions of various lights emitted by different samādhis, and the ultimate concentration - the Inconceivable Liberation.
The verses end with a recursive ‘breaking of the fourth wall’ where the book one is holding and reciting is referenced in the book one is holding and reciting.
The chapter concludes with the Buddhas of the Ten Directions appearing directly before Bhadrāśrī and pat him on the head with their right hands, a theme throughout the sutra.
