若字門,入諸法智不可得故

The syllable JÑA is a gateway because entry to knowledge of all dharmas cannot be attained.

- Kumarajiva

入若字門,悟一切法所了知性不可得故

Entering the gateway of the syllable JÑA, because one realizes the nature of the knowledge of all dharmas cannot be attained.

- Xuanzang

穰(上)字門一切法智不可得故

The syllable JÑA is a gateway because the knowledge of all dharmas cannot be attained.

JÑA because cognition (jñānā) cannot be apprehended

The syllable JÑA [means] all mental phenomena are openings because omniscience (सर्वज्ञ sarvajña) is unobtainable.
