As in शमथ (śamatha)

賒字門,入諸法定不可得故

The syllable ŚA is a gateway because entry into the cessation (śamatha) of all dharmas cannot be found.

- Kumarajiva

入捨字門,悟一切法寂靜性不可得故

Entering the gateway of the syllable ŚA, one realizes the cessation (śamatha) of all dharmas cannot be found.

- Xuanzang

捨字門一切法本性寂故

The syllable ŚA is a gateway due to the original tranquil (śamatha) nature of all dharma.

- Amoghavajra

ŚA because of that of calming-down (śamatha);

The syllable ŚA is an opening because the serenity (śamatha) of all mental

phenomenon is not cognised.
