Pratisaṃvid 四無礙解 or 四無礙智 or 四無礙辯: The four unhindered bodhisattva powers of interpretation, or reasoning:
- Dharma 法, the letter of the law;
- Artha 義, its meaning;
- Nirukti 言, in any language, or form of expression;
- Pratibhāna 樂說 , in eloquence, or pleasure in speaking, or argument. Literally “illumination,” but meaning something more like “inspiration” or “inspired eloquence,” the ability to give voice to the truth on the spur of the moment, often in public.
